The Seat Leon Cupra or Cupra Leon, as it has been called since the current model generation, is one of the sportiest and most powerful representatives of the popular class of hot hatches. It is also available as Sportstourer, ST for short, and is a practical and fun toy for the family fathers among the petrolheads. It is well known that drivers of such vehicles also like to make modifications. This is how it happened with this Leon Cupra ST example of the third model generation 5F. The conversion came about as part of a joint project between Premio in Oberhausen and the JMS Fahrzeugteile team from Walddorfhäslach in Swabia. A set of the popular Tzunamee EVO alloy wheels from Barracuda Racing Wheels, for which JMS is one of the exclusive sales partners in Europe, was installed on the axles of the sports suit. The wheels have a dark gunmetal brushed finish and the dimensions are 8.5×19 inches all around. The mounted Continental Sport Contact tires measure 235/35R19. An appropriate lowering of the body was achieved with the help of a DDC Plug & Play coilover kit from KW: This moved the body of the Cupra around 40 millimeters closer to the asphalt. Last but not least – each from the Rieger Tuning program – a front spoiler sword and a rear diffuser within which the factory tailpipes open up ensure even more optical spice.
