Zubie, a premier connected-car platform and service provider, has recently joined forces with Castrol innoVentures to unveil a joint telematics solution designed particularly for auto dealerships. This new solution will initially be deployed by Motorcars Cleveland, an esteemed dealer group renowned for its use of state-of-the-art technologies to redefine its customer and dealer operations.
The new solution incorporates Zubie’s Autodealer Telematics Platform with Castrol innoVentures’ dealer-specific workflow application, a powerful combination that is beneficial to both dealers and their customers, and leads to increased customer loyalty and service retention.
Zubie’s aftermarket cellular OBDII device, mobile and cloud solution is not only easy-to-install but also offers rich data for both car owners and dealerships. With this, they can receive real-time actionable information about their cars and motorists, thus eliminating the worry and costs associated with car ownership and maintenance. The company also has a mobile app that provides quick access to reports, preventive maintenance reminders, real-time car health alerts, customizable one-click app service appointment scheduling and many more.
By integrating Castrol innoVenture’s dealer-specific workflow application, Zubie augments the data sent to customers by concurrently offering customer-permissioned, definite, actionable service-oriented information about their vehicles to the dealership’s service advisors.
Zubie also takes pride in its always-on cellular connection that enables continuous remote monitoring of customers’ service needs, operating conditions, miles driven, and more without relying on phone pairing and Bluetooth. Dealers will be notified for low voltage/battery issues, check engine lights, odometer-driven service, maintenance needs and specific mileage. Moreover, Zubie has unique Wear & Tear analytics algorithms that help forecast the occurrence of issues, based on the vehicle and its actual operating parameters.
According to Tim Kelly, Zubie CEO, they are extremely pleased to partner with Castrol innoVentures to offer automotive dealers a unique and powerful capability to drive loyalty and revenue, operate their service operations more efficiently, and benefit their customers. He said that the new solution demonstrates the shared commitment of Zubie and Castrol innoVentures to add value through customized solutions for state-of-the-art dealers such as Motorcars Cleveland.
