TT Electronics takes pride in its new automotive-qualified power inductors. The HA72T-06 series inductors come with the latest composite molded core materials to maximize temperature performance, inductance and saturation current while reducing physical size and DC resistance. This leads to a compact, surface mount component operating in demanding environments with currents up to 45A.
Automotive applications of the HA72T-06 series inductors range from powertrain use to inclusion in braking, electric power steering, engine control, transmission control and lighting. It has been designed as a 180°C, high temperature rated molded inductor for high stress environments that need high current saturation levels, and this high operating temperature capability is far ahead of similar components offered by competitors.
When it comes to reliability, HA72T-06 inductors are mechanically tough and resist corrosion in moist environments. Featuring a magnetically shielded design, they boost system level EMI performance. Moreover, they are ideal for high power density applications where size is important and AEC-Q200 certification and performance are needed.
TT Electronics’ HA72T-06 automotive certified inductors are claimed to be of high interest to component engineers, system designers, design engineers, purchasers and buyers for use in hybrid electric vehicles, automotive powertrain, start-stop systems and electric power steering applications.
