TomTom (Tom2) always has something new for the automotive world. The Dutch company has recently unveiled three new navigation devices for the car.
Featuring TomTom’s newest innovations in routing, address search and guidance, as well as access to the most up-to-date maps, the all-new TomTom START PNDs are slim and stylish, and have been developed to make people feel like they are enjoying a priority driving experience.
Now, motorists can welcome the ‘average speed limit’ information. Gauging average speed on road networks through an average speed check camera is now becoming trendy. The START comes with features that will ensure motorists are fully aware of their average speed for a more comfortable and safer driving.
With the inclusion of Lifetime Maps, motorists no longer have to fuss about paying for map updates during the product’s lifetime. Also, people can trust that TomTom’s maps are by far the most accurate in the market.
Thanks to TomTom’s Advanced Lane Guidance, motorists are given additional clarity when navigating difficult junctions, which means they don’t miss a turn.
In a statement, Corinne Vigreux, co-founder and Managing Director, TomTom Consumer, said that she is incredibly proud that they keep on bringing innovation to their navigation products, and of their tireless work in making the navigation experience not only safer, but smarter. “We are constantly striving to make more accurate maps, deliver faster and more detailed traffic information, and create smarter routing. This combination is what makes the TomTom driving experience so unique.”
Vigreux added that by listening to their customers, they understand the responsibility they have as the most trusted companion to drivers, and with the new TomTom START series, they are once again honoring that trust and confidence.
The TomTom START 42, 52 and 62, come with 4, 5 and 6” touchscreens, respectively. The START 42 and 52 are now available at selected retailers and on the TomTom website, while the START 62 is slated to be available in July this year.
