Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has recently added 67 new part numbers to its Intermotor® Import line, expanding coverage through the 2015 model year that covers over 16 million extra vehicles in operation (VIO).
The key highlight is the addition of 12 new turbocharger SKUs, including both new and remanufactured units for gasoline applications. Included in the other remarkable additions are 4 power door lock actuators, 3 diesel fuel injectors, and 11 fuel vapor canisters with coverage for 3 million VIO.
The company also launched 23 SKUs to its switch category, thus increasing coverage by up to 5 million VIO. Included in the examples are power window switches, power door lock, heated seat, ignition, and four-wheel-drive selector.
According to Phil Hutchens, Vice President Engine Management Marketing, SMP, their latest new item release showcases their continued commitment to key categories such as turbochargers, sensors, and switches. “We’re excited to supply our customers with the quality and coverage they demand.”
