Standard Motor Products (SMP) has recently rolled out 213 new part numbers for its Standard and Intermotor lines spanning 49 product categories and covering through the 2016 model year with over 100 million extra VIO.
The company continued to make expansions to its diesel program, with the launch of a diesel fuel injection harness, diesel glow plug wiring harness, and diesel fuel transfer pump, among others. It also added 15 turbochargers, comprising new and remanufactured units for diesel and gas applications.
What’s more, SMP made huge additions to its sensor category and rolled out 75 new sensors covering 34 million VIO. Included in the highlights are accelerator pedal, ABS speed, crankshaft, ambient air temperature, steering angle, knock, and transmission oil temperature sensors. Other notables worth mentioning are 10 fuel vapor canisters and 58 power door lock actuators.
In a statement, SMP engine management marketing vice president Phil Hutchens commented that their newest release showcases their commitment to providing their customers with increased coverage and superior quality in key categories such as switches, sensors, turbochargers, and diesel.
