Aiming to provide drivers with a smooth driving experience, Standard Motor Products (SMP) announced the addition of 213 new part numbers to its BWD engine management line. The part numbers spans up to 49 product categories and expands coverage through the 2016 model year covering over 104 million extra VIO.
Included in the highlights from the BWD line expansion is the launch of 75 new sensors covering 34 million VIO. New sensors consist of steering angle, knock, crankshaft ambient air temperature, accelerator pedal, transmission oil temperature, and ABS speed, sensors.
Other items worth mentioning are 10 fuel vapor canisters, 15 turbochargers for gas and diesel applications, 58 power door lock actuators, and a number of new diesel SKUs such as a diesel emissions fluid pump.
