QNX is no stranger when it comes to bagging prestigious awards. Just recently, it has once again proven its might in the automotive arena after winning the Tech CARS Awards in the Best Backhaul Software or Development Platform for Automakers category.
Commenting on their success, a QNX spokesman said that they pride themselves in providing flexible development platforms that allow automakers to deliver unique and branded experiences. He noted that working with leading carmakers and Tier 1 suppliers pushes them to continue upping their game in state-of-the-art platforms for digital instrument clusters, infotainment, ADAS and acoustics, including the QNX Platform for ADAS and QNX Acoustics Management Platform which were announced recently.
“We would also like to congratulate our fellow award winners, Ford and Harman. Ford won for Overall Best Car Infotainment Software by Automaker for their QNX-powered SYNC 3 connectivity system.”
Aside from taking home the Tech CARS Award, QNX has also recently been named as finalist in the Best Mobile Innovation for Automotive category at the Global Mobile Awards, newly rebranded as the Glomo Awards.
The two awards are slated to take place on February 23 at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain.
