In a quest to take automotive lighting into a new dimension, Philips has recently released its new Automotive Lighting Catalog featuring the newest innovations in automotive lighting technology for applications on all types of local and import cars, SUVs, vans, and light cars from model years 1999 to 2015. The catalog presents Philips’ LED lighting technology as well as its standard replacement and upgrade bulbs. To ensure customer convenience, the automobile application listings are clearly presented in a trilingual format.
According to Philips, the all-new catalog showcases the comprehensive line of Philips Vision LED interior and exterior bulbs boasting a state-of-the-art design that not only illuminates a bright, well-focused beam on the road, but also are durable enough to high vibrations and extreme heat. Included in the LED line are replacements for trunk and license plate lights; side markers; back-up, dome and glove compartment; and brake and taillights. The catalog coverage also includes an extensive line of Philips upgrade headlight bulbs that can offer 30 percent, 60 percent or up to 100 percent more light on the road than conventional halogen bulbs.
The new catalog also highlights information about bulb replacement safety to encourage drivers to replace headlights in pairs for better safety. It comes with a comprehensive glossary of lighting technology terminologies and phrases to help better educate consumers and professionals.
Furthermore, the catalog includes the new Philips X-tremeVision LED fog lights as direct replacements for H8, H11 and H16 halogen fog bulbs. These new LED lights illuminate a bright, white 6000K light that matches with the color temperature or LED and xenon headlights as well as Philips CrystalVision ultra upgrade headlight bulbs.
Apart from lighting products, the catalog showcases the Philips Headlight Restoration Kit with UV protection, which is geared towards restoring plastic lenses to like-new condition in just less than half an hour. The kit offers a highly advanced treatment for yellowed and hazy plastic headlight lenses that can be used by DIYers and professional technicians.
