Mobil 1 Unveils ESP x2 0W-20 Engine Oil

Leveraging its four decades of technology leadership from the Mobil 1™ brand, the all-new Mobil 1 ESP x2 0W-20 engine oil embodies the newest product innovation from the market leaders in full synthetic engine oils and is designed to support OEMs, Porsche, VW and Jaguar Land Rover.

Validating ExxonMobil’s position as a technology innovator, the all-new ESP x2 0W-20 is the first-of-its-kind to market and has been developed in direct response to the stringent performance requirements of manufacturers, such as Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover and Volkswagen. The lubricant benchmarks set by these giant OEMs surpass the requirements set for previous 0W-20 products, and were only previously attainable with higher-viscosity products.

Commenting on Mobil 1, Brian Gray, Global Associate Brand Manager, Passenger Vehicle Lubricants at ExxonMobil, said that it has been pioneering automotive lubricant technology for more than 40 years, since the launch of their first synthetic engine oil in 1973. According to Karl Dums, Director Advanced Engineering Powertrain and Powertrain Strategy at Porsche, they have been recommending Mobil 1 engine oils to their customers since 1996 and this newest product innovation, Mobil 1 ESP x2 0W-20, validates Mobil 1’s position as a lead technology innovator. He added that their collaboration with ExxonMobil acknowledges their shared commitment to market foresight and advanced technology.

With convincing performance benefits including helping to enhance fuel economy between 1-4 percent and increased oil flow rates at low temperatures, Mobil 1 ESP x2 0W-20 is supported by the newest technology and helps give drivers reassurance that they are getting the most out of each drive. ESP x2 0W-20 has been engineered to maintain the efficiency of emissions systems on both petrol and diesel powered vehicles and offers advanced engine protection, sludge and wear resistance.
