MAHLE Aftermarket is hosting two informative training seminars focused on ways to enhance vehicle engine performance at the Indiana Convention Center during the first week of December. The first, registration-only program will be held at the Engine Professional Industry Conference (EPIC), hosted by the AERA Engine Builders Association, on Wednesday, December 6th between 7:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M in the Lower Level (500 Ballroom) of the Indiana Convention Center. The second training session will take place at the 2023 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show on Friday, December 8th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M in Meeting Rooms 234 and 235 of the Indiana Convention Center.
“Our experienced technical team is extremely well-versed in the development, repair and installation of the industry’s latest aftermarket parts and we are the ‘go-to’ source for all things related to performance bearings and engines,” said Jon Douglas, President, MAHLE Aftermarket North America. “If you’re planning on attending either of these exclusive industry events in December, I strongly encourage you to attend our trainings.”
Both trainings will feature Dan Begle, MAHLE Aftermarket’s Technical Sales Engineer.
The EPIC presentation, which will take place the Wednesday before the PRI Show, will explore the technical operation of engine bearings including wear indicators and how common failures happen. The primary focus will be on engine bearings but additional topics on other engine components will be discussed. For more information, including how to register for this premier event, visit https://www.aera.org/epic.html.
The PRI seminar, entitled “Bearing Trauma and Engine Harmonics,” will focus on the latest engine innovations and how to create a harmonious operation between vehicle components for the optimal end-user experience. It will be co-presented by Dan Begle, Technical Sales Engineer, MAHLE Aftermarket Inc; Randy Neal, President, and Owner of CWT Industries; and Kimm Karrip, Head of North America Corporate Research at MAHLE. During this year’s PRI Show, being held December 7-9, 2023, at the Indiana Convention Center, MAHLE will also showcase its full line of performance aftermarket parts, including MAHLE pistons, rings, gaskets, CLEVITE engine bearings, and shop equipment solutions in booth 1601.
