Gates Corporation to Offer 228 New Aftermarket Parts

Gates Corporation, which is a persified manufacturer of heavy-duty, industrial and automotive aftermarket products with a global presence has announced that the company will be shortly adding 228 new part numbers to its range of Original Equipment (OE) quality automotive aftermarket products. These products belong to different categories including coolant hoses, turbocharger steel tube kits, tensioner lines, heavy-duty micro-V belts and timing belt component kits.

The most notable new products are:

Expansion of DriveAlign Automatic Belt Tensioner line. 4 tensioners which can cover as many as 3.2 million VIO of mostly new models have been added to the range. This brings the total number of tensioners for light-duty applications which match OE parts in function and form to 300 plus.

New Turbocharger Steel Tube Kit: This new kit is specifically designed for 2003-2007 Ford Super Duty Pickups (F250, F350, F450 & F550) as well as 2003-2005 Ford Excursions, and covers over 900,000 VIO. Each kit comprises OE quality parts that re needed for a complete repair job including clamps, oil-resistant lined hoses, and a corrosion-resistant steel tube for the intercooler to engine application.

New FleetRunner® Heavy-Duty Micro-V® Belts. 15 belts have been added to the Gates range of heavy-duty belts. These belts have advanced compounds and specially formulated adhesion gum layers which give them greater tolerance for the high temperatures generated in modern diesel engines.

New Branched and Silicone Coolant Hoses: These hoses cover nearly 9 million VIO. The range has been increased with the addition of 70 new coolant hoses, including 12 branched hoses with factory quality connections. These minimize the possibility of coolant leaks. 7 molded heavy-duty silicone hoses are OE-exact and are highly suitable for extremely high temperature applications. The additions also include 25 OE matching import hoses covering over 2.5 million vehicles.

New RPM Micro-V® Belts for popular applications. 31 new belts have been added to the Gates RPM (Racing, Performance, Muscle) Micro-V line range for popular applications such as 2011–2016 Porsche 3.0 L vehicles with supercharger; 2009, 2016 VW and Audi 3.0 L vehicles with supercharger; and 2001 – 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo. All the Gates RPM belts are notable for their advanced construction and the use of innovative materials which can tolerate the demands of high performance machines.

New Timing Belt Component Kits with Water Pump (TCKWP) for over 650,000 VIO. 3 new TCKWPs are included in the release for applications that are in their prime replacement cycle, including the 1997-2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, 2002-2005 Kia Sedona and the 2003-2006 Kia Sorento.
