Advanced lighting systems add to the already sophisticated design of car interiors. In its quest to redefine this sophistication, Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd. has unveiled 67-63U(AM), a compact three-in-one RGB LED with color transformation. Its displayed colors are rich and transit smoothly, making them perfect for interior ambient lighting and dashboard applications such as clusters, switches and control units.
Featuring a golden lead frame, the new LED series enhances a product’s quality to resist sulfur, which suggests it performs no matter how bad or severe the environment is, thus satisfying the requirements of the Automotive Original Equipment Market (OE). Its compact three-in-one concept lights up the RGB colors separately, enabling for effective, convenient and comfortable use. The wavelengths of the 67-63U(AM) are: 620-630 nm (R), 520-535 nm (G) and 447-472 nm (B); its brightness at 20 mA: 560-1120 (R), 1400-2240 (G), 180-560 (B). Everlight also provides wavelength customization upon request.
Given that most RGB LEDs consist of three separate chips to control three different colors, the automotive market always has to allocate significant space for three products. Everlight claims that the 67-63U(AM) satisfies customers’ requirements not just in terms of size and convenience, but also cost.
The 67-63U(AM) passed AEC-Q101 as quality guarantee. It is also RoHS-compliant, EU REACH-compliant, Pb-free and Halogen-free-compliant (Br<900 ppm, Cl <900 ppm, Br+Cl <1500 ppm), perfectly designed for interior ambient lighting and dashboard applications such as clusters, switches and control units.
