At the opening of the Dubai International Motor Show today, Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has proudly announced its partnership with Dubai Autodrome, the city’s multi-purpose motor sport facility. The collaboration, which will see the company provide fuels and lubricants for the entire list of race and track vehicles, is aimed at reinforcing motorsports in Dubai and further highlighting the Emirate’s position as a leading hub for world-class sporting events.
Providing a world-class range of premium fuels and lubricants that support the requirements of OEMs, ENOC products will power the motorsports vehicles and meet the demands of track day events hosted at the facility.
As part of the collaboration, ENOC will supply high grade “Super” 98 RON Petrol which is produced to the highest quality standards at its Jebel Ali refinery at 120,000 barrels per day. This petrol is specially formulated to withstand higher levels of compression ratio before ignition, making it suitable for high performance vehicles at the Autodrome, which usually require higher compression ratios.
Moreover, EPPCO lubricants will offer the Protec Flex Energy SN 5W-30 which meets the long drain recommended for all European, Japanese, American, and Korean petrol cars.
Commenting on their collaboration with Dubai Autodrome, Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director of ENOC Marketing, said that it is a huge milestone that marks their expansion efforts in the local market. He noted that this partnership would not only enable them to engage with the large community of motorsports aficionados, but would also enable them to contribute to the efficiency of Dubai Autodrome’s operations. “By providing world-class fuels and lubricants, we hope to support the perse events being held at the premium venue, and contribute to strengthening Dubai’s positioning as a regional motorsports destination.”
The collaboration will also provide ENOC with branding opportunities, which will boost engagement and visibility among a niche segment, thus reinforcing awareness to local and international audiences.
According to Nader Al Fardan, Director of ENOC Industrial Products Marketing, Dubai Autodrome is the regional arena for the Hankook 24 Hour Dubai race and also acts as a significant testing ground for innovative motoring technologies, where car majors worldwide converge to test and prove their fresh concepts under the challenging and environmental conditions in the UAE. He added that this collaboration would serve as a vital platform to prove the value with which they serve all their customers in the UAE.
ENOC Lubricants, the largest producer of finished lubricants in the region, is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 to quality, environment and occupational health & safety. Boasting a strong presence in 60 countries in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and CIS countries, ENOC Lubricants has developed its very own quality range of branded greases, lubricants and specialties for automotive and industrial applications.
Rashid Al Ameeri, General Manager, EPPCO Lubricants, added that this opportunity showcases the persity of ENOC’s product offering in the fuels and lubricants segment, noting that products such as the Protec Flex Energy SN 5W-30 are formulated in accordance with the latest API SN specifications and ILSAC GF-5 category. “The timely availability of fuels and lubricants that suit all vehicles will support Dubai Autodrome in its perse motorsports activities that are held year-round.”

An ISO 17025:2005 certified laboratory drives quality control and after-sales programs that need analytical studies.
Featuring a combination of technical corners and high-speed straights, the 5.39km Dubai Autodrome circuit is one of the most modern in the globe. With six different configurations, the circuit is designed to enable three racing circuits to operate independently, simultaneously and safely from each other, thus offering users unequaled options.
