Continental is targeting professional automotive repair technicians with its new “We Get it” theme. The company is using the slogan to highlight it Continental Elite aftermarket products and OE-quality parts and accessories. Automotive repair is a highly specialized field which needs highly trained, experienced and dedicated professionals.
Tom Lee, Continental’s marketing manager for its North American aftermarket business said that the company realizes this fact and hence is reiterating its commitment to these professionals and the work they perform on a daily basis with this tagline.
The “We Get It” theme also highlights the high quality of the Continental Elite aftermarket products and the company’s OE-quality parts and accessories which meet the most stringent specifications that experienced repair technicians consider to be the norm. The reputation of a trustworthy technician is closely tied to the quality of the parts he recommends and uses. Hence Lee said that Continental has undertaken to support these professionals with parts that are “the best of the best.”
Throughout the remainder of 2016 and 2017, Continental will reinforce the “We Get It” theme with advertising and other marketing collateral in both print, electronic and social media. Other supporting offerings include a new aftermarket handbook for installers as well as a new catalog for timing kit products.
