Castrol and its exclusive distributor Central Trading Company are further cementing their position in the Middle East with the recent launch of the Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START, a new engine oil designed to safeguard cars from engine wear caused by stop-start city driving.
According to Mohammed Aqel, General Manager – Central Trading Company, they are proud to launch Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START in the UAE automotive aftermarket, which offers a pioneering solution to guard engine parts against the wear of stop-start driving.
The new engine oil has been developed particularly for protection against damage caused by driving in stop-start conditions. It is the result of advanced development by scientists and engineers at Castrol’s multiple technology centers worldwide.
Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START has intelligent molecules that cling to essential engine parts and form a self-healing layer of protection. Though molecules are eliminated in the process of fighting wear, others rush in to restore the protective layer. Hence, essential engine components are protected at every stage of stop-start driving, from the first start, to the last stop, and every stop-start in between.
Aqel concluded that as per the research conducted, motorists stop and start their cars more than 18,000 times a year, and similarly in UAE, motorists experience the same stop-start driving feature in their daily routine. “Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START is the ideal lubricant to provide the right protection for car engines in these conditions.”
