Bosch Debuts New Range of SmartCharge Battery Chargers/Maintainers

Robert Bosch LLC has debuted a new range of SmartCharge Battery Chargers/Maintainers. These new high-quality, ergonomically-shaped chargers come with highly innovative smart and safety features as well as a full package of accessories.

The advanced technology that has been used in the design and development of these chargers and their  self-monitoring functions gives the new Bosch SmartCharge Battery Chargers the ability to deliver long battery life, overheating protection, spark protection, reverse polarity protection and overcharging protection to customers. The chargers have the capability to automatically switch between trickle and pulse modes, and to adjust the charging algorithm depending on the state of the battery. The SmartCharge Plus  and SmartCharge Pro come with a new digital display, that will allow users to monitor the status of the charge in real time and receive safety alerts.

The new Bosch SmartCharge line of chargers can be used for vehicles belonging to all categories including classic cars, passenger vehicles, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and delivery vehicles. The SmartCharge Pro is robust enough to charge up heavy-duty trucks. There are three different models to choose from depending on the charging requirements and these chargers can be used by anyone ranging from the professional technician to the DIYer.

SmartCharge Pro is a professional-level battery charger/maintainer that can be used by automotive repair professionals. It offers a choice of six different charging modes, with a 12- or 24-volt output. It has a maximum charging speed of 7 amps and has a digital display which can be used to monitor the voltage of  the battery during charging. This battery charger is compatible with a wide range of applications, including heavy-duty trucks, Class 4 and above

SmartCharge Plus is a mid-level battery charger/maintainer that offers users a choice of four different charging modes, with a 6- or 12-volt output. It has a maximum charging speed of 3.8 amps and has a digital display which indicates the voltage of the battery during charging

SmartCharge is an entry-level battery charger/maintainerthat has a maximum charging speed of 3.5 amps. It offers two different charging modes, with a 12-volt output and has an LED charging indicator

In order to enhance the durability of these chargers, the cables included with Bosch SmartCharge Battery Chargers are water- and oil-resistant. Each charger also comes with its very own full set of accessories including fully-insulated and removable clamps, quick-connect harness with mounting rings, cable fuse for safety and protection, mounting hooks and an SAE adapter for enhanced compatibility.
