Automechanika Birmingham which is scheduled to be held from June 6 to June 8 will have a new Connected & Digital Technology Zone this year. This Zone will serve as a space for exhibitors to showcase the latest cutting edge automotive technologies.
Jointly organized by SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and Automechanika Birmingham, the zone will be located in Hall 6 of the NEC in Birmingham and will feature products that will be launched shortly in the market and will also feature components that will be used for the design, development and manufacture of vehicles in the future. Visitors to the show will get a sneak peeak into futuristic vehicle technologies.
Exhibits in the Zone will range from new cars like the Range Rover Velar and automotive workshop solutions to electric prototypes and advanced ‘touchy-feely’ production robots. The Connected & Digital Technology Zone will offer both participants and visitors to see what will shape the automotive market in the future. It will be definitely be of great interest to suppliers in the automotive sector.
The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) is a trade association comprising over 700 automotive companies involved in the UK motor industry.
