At the first day of the recently concluded Automechanika Dubai 2016, General Motors’ ACDelco – a global leader in replacement parts and related services –came out in full force, presenting its comprehensive lineup of products ranging from oils and batteries to spark plugs, window films, wiper blades, filters, brakes and chemicals.
At the GM-sponsored show, the company unveiled its cutting-edge battery, which uses a stamped grid technology that enhances battery strength and power, and does not require maintenance. The beauty of the new battery is that it is exclusively designed to suit the extreme climatic conditions of the Middle East region.
ACDelco’s participation at this year’s Automechanika—known as the Middle East and Africa’s grandest international automotive aftermarket trade show—coincides with its 100th anniversary milestone and caps off a great year of growth for the brand.
Last year, the company held a 40 percent share of the regional battery market, and looking ahead, it intends to continue the growth of its sales of maintenance-free batteries as well as other high quality products.
Automechanika Dubai 2016 was held from May 8-10 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
