Professional athletes are a true inspiration to car parts manufacturers. They don’t just move about skillfully and powerfully, but are also characterized by a precise and tense posture, thereby making for a pleasant appearance and guaranteed success.
This is why ABT Sportsline has recently added suspension kits to its power upgrades, and adapted sport-type sway bars for the front and rear axle. These parts not only reduce the tilt of the car in bends or when changing direction quickly, but also rolling or understeering. Wheel loads redistribution also causes a positive effect, resulting in a more dynamic handling.
According to CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt, sport-type sway bars are more than just some metal rods as they suggest a sportier handling, without a number of compromises.
Given that ABT products are of high-quality workmanship, they are low-maintenance and make the car more comfortable even during the compression stage. In addition, the dimensions of the components between the front and rear axle are geared to each other. The sport-type sway bars can also be used with both ABT sport-type suspensions or mass-production suspensions or other aftermarket products. Therefore, customers will always find the perfect solution for any set-up and suspensions can be modularly retrofitted anytime.
To date, ABT’s top quality sport-type sway bars are offered for the Skoda Octavia; the Seat Leon; Audi A3, S3, RS3, TT and TTS; VW Golf VII, GTI and R; plus the all-new VW Passat estate and limo. The company confirms that other models will follow soon.
