Nexen Tire Supplies Original Equipment Tires for SEAT Leon

Global tire manufacturer Nexen Tire announced today that it will be supplying the N’blue S in the size 205/55R16 91V for Original Equipment fitment to the new SEAT Leon.

The Leon is a best-selling family hatchback model, built by Spanish car manufacturer SEAT. Over 2 million units were sold globally since its first launch in 1999. The Leon model is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform, providing balanced driving performance with power and efficiency.

The N’blue S is an eco-friendly tire, designed for both low-emission vehicles and high-performance cars. It delivers minimized rolling resistance to support the car manufacturers to meet Europe’s increasingly stringent CO2 emission regulations. The tire features the Nexen Tire Sidewall Aero Dynamic technology to assure better mileage with reduced pass-by noise. Moreover, the tire provides excellent drainage and braking performance on wet roads.

Nexen Tire is expanding OE supplies through improvements in technology and quality assurance, and is extending access to global premium car manufacturers.

Last year, Nexen Tire enhanced its competitiveness in Europe by the grand opening of its European Plant located in Zatec in the Czech Republic. Nexen Tire will further increase its OE business by strengthening its presence in Europe.
