Bridgestone used the Paris Motor Show to launch a highly advanced predictive tire and vehicle maintenance solution that it will deploy across Europe. The company developed the concept as ‘Bridgestone Connect’ with the goal of making a connected car solution that will give drivers greater confidence and peace of mind. Bridgestone will use its Speedy retailer network to commercialize the solution for the first time as My Speedy. My Speedy can be used for monitoring vehicle health in real time so that motorists get any inkling of potential maintenance issues at an early stage and can thus avoid heavy tolls on their pocket, time and their safety while on the road.
As one of the top tire manufacturers in the world, Bridgestone has always focused on coming up with convenient and innovative solutions to help drivers solve the challenges they face on a daily basis. The company leveraged the current digital revolution to test the limits of what can be achieved using smartphone technology to come up with cutting-edge mobility solutions that can respond to driver’s needs. After pan-EU consumer research and with the help of digital tools, Bridgestone came up with My Speedy so that drivers can optimize their vehicle maintenance.
