The VW bus always represented more. Originally more space, later more utility and today it´s an iconic transporter for more style. Because the square all-time classic in its current version T6.1 is not only an allrounder for business and family transport, but also a fun vehicle suitable for the tuning scene. To enhance the latter feature, H&R engineers have now added a coil over suspension to their program. The adjustable range reduces the ground clearance between 65 and 90 millimetres at the front axle and between 60 and 80 mm at the rear. This looks good on the bus and provides a significant upgrade in driving behaviour. The lateral inclination in fast corners is noticeably reduced, the steering response is much more direct. Nevertheless, driving comfort and payload remain at a level suitable for long-distance travel. Still available are the H&R sport springs with fix lowering of approx. 35 millimeter (depence on vehicle configuration) With the optionally available TRAK+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium, both standard and aftermarket wheels can be aligned with millimetre precision to the edges of the mudguard and ensure the perfect wheelbase.
