Summer has well and truly arrived – as anyone who has experienced the sweltering temperatures of around 40°C in recent weeks can confirm. Of course, that also means that the motoring and tuning season is in full swing. After two years disrupted by various blockages and cancellations, petrolheads are thrilled to be able to gather with like-minded people once again at major meet-ups. The team at G-POWER – a brand that has built a reputation over almost 40 years for its first-rate performance upgrades, mainly working on BMW M models before recently also turning its hand to Mercedes-AMG and Porsche top models and sports cars – has launched itself into 2022 full of enthusiasm and is looking forward to a wonderful season with customers new and old. Of course, G-POWER continues to stand by its traditional values, such as close and trusting contact with interested parties and customers, plus highly qualified advice based on decades of experience in order to find the right product for each customer. For the G-POWER specialists, one thing is essential in each and every performance upgrade: not only do they aim to achieve the greatest possible power increase, they also place great value on providing impressive drivability and making sure that the optimizations do not affect the engine’s longevity. G-POWER therefore conducts extensive testing of all products prior to their market launch and strives to tailor them perfectly. And of course, the technicians leave all of the motors’ safety, protection and diagnostic functions unchanged. As a little treat, G-POWER recently gathered together all the customer cars currently in the workshop awaiting completion for the summer for a little photoshoot. In total, the high-performance specialists brought together an incredible 11,650 hp and 14,250 Nm! All this power was shared between just 15 upgraded BMW M models. According to their data sheets, each vehicle had a minimum of 600 hp and 850 Nm. Topping the rankings were a number of HURRICANE models based on M5 and M8 Competition variants, each boasting 900 hp and 1,050 Nm – and serving as emphatic proof of the formidable power of G-Power upgrades. There were also a few M2, M3 and X5 M specimens on show.
