Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), the manufacturer of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Fiat, Abarth and Alfa Romeo vehicles globally, is providing its dealerships in the Middle East region with iShowroom, a virtual sales tool which offers customers a contactless and unique digital experience conveniently though their screen.
Building on the success of FCA’s ‘Car@home’ program which allows customers to order test drives to their doorstep, this state-of-the-art initiative enables customers to interact with dealerships from the comfort and safety of their own homes via popular video conferencing applications.
Commenting on iShowroom, Orhan Sozen, Network Development Director at FCA Middle East said: “iShowroom is set to revolutionize the buyer experience for FCA customers. Our Sales Consultants are able to highlight every single aspect of any of our models with the tap of a finger and broadcast this experience directly to the homes of our customers. This wholly digital experience maximizes comfort, convenience and safety for both our clients and our employees.”
Available in Web (desktop, laptop, tablet) and Mobile Web (smartphones) versions, iShowroom is a comprehensive digital sales tool that contains information about every model of every FCA brand, including features and benefits, extensive information and videos about how key features work, brand advertising, animations and videos. It even allows customers to make model-to-model comparisons between different FCA vehicles.
There is also a ‘Wish List’ feature that enables users to compile a list of desired features, such as Adaptive Cruise Control or Lane Change Assist, and determine which vehicles in the dealership’s inventory have those features, helping Sales Consultants match the correct models to customers’ specific needs.
While the iShowroom tool can be operated through its web and mobile applications on handheld devices within dealerships, it can also be hosted on popular video conferencing applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
When combined with FCA’s OwnerSupport+ tool which provides comprehensive after-sales support to new FCA owners, this enables a completely digital experience for the customer, from vehicle selection to purchase, online delivery and after-sales care.
The Customer Journey
When a customer contacts the dealership, trained call center agents are ready to create an online video conference appointment and advise the customer on how to access the meeting via their PC, tablet or mobile phone, if necessary.
The Sales Representative can then contact the customer through video conferencing and present the iShowroom tool to the customer to perform a needs analysis, conduct a vehicle features presentation, offer a selection of suitable vehicles, and create a vehicle proposal. All the information presented during the presentation can also be emailed directly to the customer via iShowroom.
The iShowroom initiative represents the latest phase of digitalization for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles globally, reflecting their ambitions to drive digital transformation to adapt to the latest market trends and consistently improve the customer experience.
