Volkswagen Middle East has debuted R-Line equipment packages for the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan that it launched in October 2016.
The R-line equipment package was developed by Volkswagen R Gmbh, the Volkswagen subsidiary that specializes in sports cars. There are R-Line packages that have been specially customized for the Tiguan SE 2.0L, SEL 2.0L and Sport 2.0L model trims in order to further enhance the distinctive detailing of the new model.
The exterior R-line body package for the 2.0L Tiguan SE comprises a prominent front and rear bumper. In addition to the enhanced exterior look, the 2.0L Tiguan SEL package includes an interior package consisting of elements like a decorative “Race” cloth upholstery in Magnetite Grey and an R-Line logo on the backrest, a 19” Sebring alloy wheel, front scuff plates in aluminium and brushed stainless steel pedals.
For the 2.0L Tiguan Sport, the R-Line package includes all of the features for the 2.0L Tiguan SE as well as 20” Suzuka alloy wheels in order to complete the dynamic styling of the vehicle.
Speaking about the new R-line packages, Andrew Savvas, Brand Director Volkswagen Middle East said that the company would continue to expand R-Line equipment packages across its range at Volkswagen Middle East. So far, it has offered equipment for the Beetle, Touareg, CC and the new Passat models. R-Line packages provide customers enhancements for their new car with made-to-fit equipment that has specially designed right down to the last detail for each Volkswagen model.
The R-Line equipment package is currently available at Volkswagen showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman and Qatar from December 2016 onwards.
