Bentley’s renowned coach-building pision, has created four limited edition Mulsanne Sinjari models that effectively blend Middle Eastern heritage with British craftsmanship. With these models, Mulliner has taken bespoke craftsmanship to new heights and the Mulsanne Sinjari effectively showcase the heritage of the Middle East to cater to Bentley’s high end clientele in the region. Bentley has already begun deliveries of the Sinjari, with two cars already having arrived in the region. The other two models are getting their finishing touches in Crewe.
In view of the importance that falconry plays in the culture of the Middle East, the design of the Mulsanne Sinjari was inspired by the prized Sinjari falcon. This impressive bird is a native of the Sinjar mountains and is found in many parts of the Arabian Peninsula. Like the Sinjar falcon, its namesake Mulsanne is also notable for its outstanding performance, style and elegance.
A dynamic, exterior
The Mulsanne Sinjari will be available in a range of eyecatching exterior shades, inspired by the colourful plumage of the Sinjari Falcon. It is finished in Bentley two-tone Anthracite over Onyx. The striking 21-inch Aluminium alloy wheels are finished in gloss black in keeping with the Sinjari theme.
Like the Bentley Mulsanne, it has a gold plated Flying ‘B’. The large stainless steel vertical-vane grille, which is 80 mm wider than before, dominates the front end and the iconic Bentley matrix grille is visible through the vertical vanes.
The new one-piece bumper, radiator shell and bonnet integrate seamlessly with flush joins creating more visual width and presence. These features flow down to a lower vane-grille section, which is in turn flanked by ‘B’ signature matrix elements and finished in bright chrome.
The brightware detailing continues on either side of the Mulsanne with a new B-shaped wing vent incorporated into the lower section of the fender.
An extravagant interior
The interiors are just as impressive as the exteriors with illuminated treatplates, which read “Sinjari” and elements in the cabin that have been crafted to the highest standards by the Mulliner coach building pision at the Bentley Crewe factory. The cabin comes with “Sinjari” embroidered on the front headrests and Mulliner’s signature diamond quilted leather trim, which is finished in black and white. The contrasting white ceiling and handcrafted veneer featuring a distinctive, goldplated transfer overlay image of a Sinjari falcon add to the “Sinjari” theme throughout the vehicle. The veneers have been made by hand by Mulliner craftsmen from the best woods including oak, walnut, maple, and bodark. Each of the 40 hand-selected veneers have been shaped and finished with Mulliner’s flair for detail. The iPad tables in the rear of the cabin too come with a goldplated transfer overlay image of the Sinajri Falcon, and a chrome plated transfer overlay is added to the waistrails with the wording “Sinjari”. Other luxurious elements in the cabin chrome inlays, bright-polished stainless steel, knurled controls, unique glass switchgear, and deep-pile carpets.
A tailored driving experience
The new adjustable sports suspension and steering ensures that motorists get a truly customized driving experience in the Mulsanne Sinjari. It is available in two powerful engine variations and caters to all requirements that drivers and passengers might have.
The Mulsanne Sinajari is powered by a 9-speed automatic transmission that is paired with a turbo charged version of Bentley’s iconic 6.75-litre V8 engine. The car can attain a top speed of 296km/h, thanks to an output of 505 bhp and 1,020 Nm of torque. The Mulsanne Sinajri Speed specification, which produces the most torque from any gasoline series production car in the world, features an even more powerful turbo charged 6.75-litre V8 engine producing 1,100 Nm of torque and 530bhp with 13% more efficiency. The efficiency of the Mulsanne Sinjari continues through the cylinder deactivation system which disengages unneeded cylinders depending on driving conditions, thereby reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke pision is meant to produce cars that can satisfy even the most stringent requirements of the brand’s customers. These can be simple like monogrammed upholstery or highly complex like intricate body modifications that can be carried out only by craftsmen. Through Mulliner, Bentley focuses on taking luxury to greater heights.
