Liebherr has teamed up with Emirates Motor Company (EMC) to supply 200 Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks with mixers. This will allow companies in the country to deliver on their infrastructural commitments.
As part of the partnership, Liebherr will supply 12 CBM Liebherr Mixers to 200 Actros 8×4 trucks. Of these 200 trucks, 100 units will be delivered to one of the largest ready-mix companies in the UAE. The trucks will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology as part of a ‘Connected Trucks’ concept. The company will use a unique Fleetboard system for vehicle tracking and assessment of a driver’s performance. From a technological perspective, the Mercedes chassis is a perfect fit for the Liebherr mixer bodies and the two work in tandem as a reliable and high-quality truck mixer unit.
EMC is the flagship company of the renowned Al Fahim Group and the authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Abu Dhabi. As part of the partnership, EMC will supply top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles with a five-year extended warranty. The agreement also covers a comprehensive repair and maintenance contract for five years will support services across the UAE. EMC has undertaken to provide training courses to drivers for providing them with expertise regarding economical driving techniques and to enhance their safety on the road.

He said the company’s aim is to provide the best vehicles and technology to meet the needs of its clients and this will be backed by the Mercedes-Benz brand promise and EMC’s commitment to service excellence.
Liebherr has been closely involved with several high-profile projects in the UAE and has contributed significantly to the rapid expansion of the United Arab Emirates.
