BMW Car clubs in the Middle are now becoming official as they get the nod of recognition from BMW Clubs International Council. BMW Clubs International Council has asked the clubs in the region to organize themselves under the BMW Club Middle East Umbrella. The clubs would be supported by the BMW Club & Community Management (BCCM), and the first clubs that were be recognized as part of this scheme would be BMW M Club Bahrain, BMW Car Club Saudi Arabia, BMW Car Club UAE and BMW Motorrad Lebanon. These clubs officially received recognition during the recent International Council Meeting that was held in Cape Town, South Africa.
With these clubs getting the official nod of approval as part of the Umbrella, more clubs are likely to join the group, thus providing them with a formal connection to the leading German auto manufacturer. As an outcome of the international affiliations, members will now get access to a wider network of peers, and will also get a chance to share their passion for BMW vehicles with more like-minded individuals across the globe.
We are thrilled to see our extremely passionate regional clubs formally recognized by the BMW Club, and are really looking forward to seeing them flourish and grow thanks to the expanded network and support that this move will bring,” said Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, BMW Clubs Middle East Chairman and President of the BMW M Club Bahrain. The Middle East is the latest such region in the world that has been added to the official list of Umbrellas. This decision was taken due to the acknowledgement and support the clubs have received from the local BMW distributors in the region, who have seen high levels of interest in the brand. As an outcome of this recognition, 6,000 BMW enthusiasts across the region will now be officially recognized as part of the BMW family.
