Renowned British luxury car manufacturer has announced plans to open a new showroom in Abu Dhabi in the iconic Etihad Towers building. The MOU for the new showroom was signed by His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed al Nahyan and Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer today.
The opening of the new showroom in Abu Dhabi will signal Aston Martin’s entry into a market that has its fair share of millionaires and jet setters at an address that is highly exclusive.
Commenting on the move to open the new showroom, Dr Andy Palmer, Aston Martin CEO said “We are very much looking forward to opening a showroom in Abu Dhabi. The UAE market is extremely important for a luxury automotive brand like Aston Martin and Etihad Towers is the perfect location.”
Neil Slade, General Manager Middle East and North Africa at Aston Martin, commented said that the Aston Martin signifies much more than a car, it is a lifestyle. The Etihad Towers address is in perfect keeping with this lifestyle and will add to the Aston Martin experience for customers. The new showroom will take Aston Martin one step closer to customers in the UAE capital
The opening of the new showroom will also witness the Abu Dhabi launch of Aston Martin’s most striking track-only supercar, the Aston Martin Vulcan. The sleekly designed supercar has been built using the company’s longstanding expertise in motorsports and comes with a number of technical innovations. The 800-plus bhp, all-carbon fiber Vulcan is the company’s most powerful and inspiring car to date. With the production run capped at just 24 cars worldwide, the owner of a new Vulcan will belong to a highly exclusive club.
Dr Andy Palmer concluded: “Vulcan is not just a supercar, it represents 102 years of road and race experience and only 24 people in the world will be able to say they are part of this unique club.”
