Al Habtoor Motors Brings Latest FUSO Heavyweights to the UAE

Al Habtoor Motors,which is the exclusive dealer for the Fuso brand of trucks in the UAE has made new additions to the brand’s range in the UAE by adding the latest medium and heavy duty trucks. With the addition of the new models, customers in the UAE now have access to trucks that offer the complete range of pay loads from 3 T to 18T in the rigid range and 40 to 49 T GCW in the Tractor range.

The vehicles were officially launched in the UAE at a gala “Let’s Break the Ice” event held at Ski Dubai which was attended by customers, eminent dignitaries and senior executives like Roland Schneider, President & CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA region and Karl Hamer, Managing Director of Al Habtoor Motors.

The industrial scene in the UAE is booming leading to greater demand for heavy-duty trucks for special applications. Over the years, commercial vehicles from the FUSO range have proved their mettle and have played a key role in the industrial sector not only in the UAE but also in other countries across the world. The addition of new models to the FUSO range in the UAE fills in the gap for specialty transportation vehicles in the different sectors.

The vehicles added to the FUSO range in the UAE included FZ Tractor Head, FA Medium Duty Truck Chassis, FJ Heavy Duty Tipper and FJ Heavy Duty Truck.

The soild, strong FZ Tractor Head has been optimized for long distance operations and is mainly meant for high-speed hauling of 40 – 49 tons category of Trailers, Car Carriers and Containers. It offers the advantages of a short turning radius, excellent maneuverability and offers customers the option of either heavy-duty or fuel saving engines. It is ideal for handling heavy and tall loads.

Built for maximum profitability, the FA Medium Duty Truck Chassis can deliver profits in a variety of Regular Applications like: Cargo Body, Cargo Body with Crane, Freezer, Container in addition to Special Applications like: Garbage Compactor, Skip Loaders, Tipper, Tankers and Aerial Platform. Powered by versatile, high-performance common rail turbo with intercooler engines, the FA series features aerodynamic cab design that saves fuel and reduces cabin noise. While its outstanding climbing and maneuverability enhances utility, the tough, durable chassis and suspension allow heavier loads.

The Heavy Duty FJ series can be used both as a truck and as a Heavy Duty Tipper. The regular applications for which it can be used include freezer, container, logistics, cargo body, and Cargo Body with Crane. It can also be used for special applications including transit mixers, garbage compactor, tipper, Skip loaders, Tankers and aerial platforms. The FJ Series model is powered by a fuel-efficient engine having a high output, flat torque and greater durability. This is paired with a smooth-shifting 6 speed/ 9 speed overdrive transmission. The smooth transmission, fully adjustable seats and steering wheel make life a lot easier on the road for the drivers of these vehicles.
