INFINITI has announced exciting updates for its 2023 QX50 model, which includes new standard features and a sporty trim-level.
The QX50 SPORT is the latest addition to the INFINITI line-up and boasts an eye-catching, dark front fascia. This model also features 20-inch dark-painted and machine-finished wheels that exude a powerful and polished quality, with gloss black exterior trim pieces that give it an even more impressive look.
But that’s not all, all four 2023 QX50 grades now come with a range of new standard convenience features that make driving a breeze. These include a remote engine start function, a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror that provides clear vision in all conditions, and a wireless phone charging pad that ensures you never run out of battery on the go. For those looking to stand out, the 2023 QX50 also offers a new exterior and interior color option, Radiant White, Dynamic Sunstone Red and Pebble Gray respectively (available on select grades).
The addition of the 2023 QX50 Sport, means the nameplate comes in four trim-levels, joining the LUXE 2WD, LUXE STYLE AWD, and QX50 AUTOGRAPH. All four grades feature a powerful and innovative engine – which delivers an impressive 268 horsepower and 380 nm of torque.
Advanced powertrain
The INFINITI QX50 is an SUV that boasts the world’s first mass-produced variable-compression turbocharged (VC-Turbo) engine, a true marvel of engineering. This 2.0-liter engine can change its compression ratio on-the-fly, depending on your needs.
The VC-Turbo technology marks a significant leap for the internal combustion engine, joining other renowned powertrain innovations such as liquid-cooling, fuel injection, catalytic convertors, and turbocharging. In turn this engine provides a driving experience that is both powerful and fuel-efficient.
Curated design, inside and out
The INFINITI QX50 is a sight to behold, with its stunning and athletic design that draws inspiration from the brand’s signature Japanese styling cues. The double-arch front grille and crescent-shaped rear roof pillar, combined with bold crease lines along the bodysides and a sleek roofline, create a unique and captivating appearance that turns heads wherever you go. And with the option of 19 or 20-inch wheels as well as a variety of striking colors, including the newly-added Radiant White, the QX50 is the perfect blend of style and performance.
But it’s not just the exterior that impresses – step inside the QX50, and you’ll be greeted by a luxurious interior that boasts the finest materials carefully selected to surround you in comfort and style. The second row of seats slide, allowing for maximum flexibility in terms of legroom or luggage space, while the seats fold flat to create an expansive cargo area of up to 65.1 cubic feet (64.4 with panoramic moonroof) when you need it.
In short, the INFINITI QX50 is the ultimate expression of style and practicality, perfect for those who demand the best of both worlds.
Technology in abundance The final piece of the QX50’s appealing offering is a plentiful list of technological features intended to streamline and simplify almost every trip. For starters, every QX50 boasts a high level of standard safety technology, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking and High Beam Assist. All 2023 QX50 models are equipped as standard with ProACTIVE whereas SPORT and AUTOGRAPH are equipped with ProPILOT Assist technology with Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist.
The standard INFINITI InTouchTM infotainment system has an 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower screen, with wired Android Auto™ and wireless Apple CarPlay®. The QX50 offers a total of four USB ports throughout the cabin, plus a newly standard wireless device charging pad.
