ADNOC Distribution is the first fuel retailer in the world with 100% of its frontline staff working in its Service Station network now vaccinated.
The UAE’s largest fuel and convenience retailer has been committed to uphold the highest standards of health and safety throughout the pandemic, ensuring that customer and employee safety and wellbeing is always its number one priority. Providing access to the COVID-19 vaccine for all employees was integral to its ongoing support of the nation’s recovery.
“Our employees have shown a proactive commitment and unwavering desire in fighting the spread of the disease,” said Ahmed Al Shamsi, Acting CEO, ADNOC Distribution.
“I am extremely proud of their dedication to always upholding the highest standards of HSE, and they are shining examples of how important it is for us all to work together against COVID-19.”
The company’s efforts have included mobile vaccination units for frontline staff, with more than 7,500 of those working on ADNOC forecourts and in ADNOC Oasis convenience stores making the choice to take their first dose, with many now completing both doses.
The vaccination roll out is the latest in a wide range of measures that the company has put in place, including extensive COVID-19 testing for all employees, daily cleaning and sanitization across its network, as well as readily available PPE and clear health and safety guidelines at station and in ADNOC Oasis convenience stores.
