One of the struggles of the digital age is the efficient housekeeping of photographs and videos that are typically scattered across a number of devices. If you find yourself searching your tablet, phone, notebook or USB storage drives for a specific image or video file, LyveHome is a single-point digital media storage device that can make your search a little easier.
LyveHome is a network-connected device that uses your local Wi-Fi network to synchronize, backup and organize your media files into at least two places. This creates helpful redundancy while allowing you to access media across all you devices, even after they disconnect from the LyveHome box. The box is a 5.4-inch device that weighs just over 680 grams and features a 5-inch 549×960-pixel touchscreen display and 2 TB of storage. Upload options include standard Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, and SD card slots. A convenient HDMI port allows you to connect to any external display device. The box also connects wirelessly to Chromecast, Apple TV, and Vizio Smart TV devices. The device supports all major image formats and video formats and is compatible with iOS, Mac OS, Windows 7+, and Android 4.1+ devices.
Connecting your devices to a single LyveHome node allows you to sync the files on that device to the master hub. The device is also bundled with an app that generates low-resolution thumbnails of all your photographs for efficient resource-light viewing. Images and videos are also added to the Lyve Timeline that allows you to organize files by date. You may also organize your files by tags, making it easy to find photographs. All your photographs are stored locally, with a file index being created on the Lyve cloud servers. The device is also capable of storing photographs in multiple accounts, giving users the privacy and convenience of shared storage with the personal security of inpidual LyveHome accounts.
