The UAE’s pre-owned car market recorded strong activity in 2025, reflecting a broad and resilient landscape that caters to both value-driven buyers and the premium segment. Supported by the emirates’ stringent vehicle maintenance and inspection standards, used cars continue to offer reliability, quality and long-term value across all segments.
As one of the UAE’s most established platforms for tracking pre-owned vehicle activity, dubizzle captures a broad view of buyer and seller behaviour across more than 100 automotive brands. In addition to facilitating listings, the platform reflects wider market dynamics through complementary services such as vehicle inspections, financing options, and structured sales formats including the dubizzle Yard Sale. These activity signals feed into dubizzle’s annual market analysis, offering data-driven insights that help contextualise trends, inform decision-making, and enhance transparency across the used-car market.
dubizzle’s 2025 Annual Car Market Report provides a clear picture of shifting buyer preferences and segment performance, offering a comprehensive overview of the trends shaping both the luxury and non-luxury pre-owned car markets in the UAE.
Commenting on the growth of the market in 2025, Sherif Magdy, Sales Director at dubizzle Cars, said: “The UAE car market in 2025 feels more considered than ever before. Buyers are doing their homework and making choices that genuinely suit their needs, whether that’s a dependable everyday car, an SUV with the latest tech, or an electric vehicle. Based on our observations, rather than one trend dominating the market, demand is spread across different segments, reflecting more personal and practical decision-making. Pre-owned cars continue to appeal to a wide audience, particularly as the cost of new vehicles remains high. SUVs are holding their ground, tech features are becoming a stronger deciding factor, and electric vehicles are gaining traction as charging infrastructure improves. From our point of view, at dubizzle the focus is on making the process clearer and easier, so buyers and sellers can move forward with confidence.”
dubizzle’s analysis of the pre-owned luxury car market trends confirms the undisputed dominance of German car brands in the UAE. For the fifth consecutive year, Mercedes-Benz and BMW secured the first and second positions as the leading luxury marques. Lexus, Land Rover and Porsche also held their ranks for the second consecutive year, reflecting the stability of the luxury market.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class emerged as the most popular used luxury sedan, with prices ranging from AED 318,157 for 2021 models to AED 791,024 for 2025 models. Close behind, the C-Class also remained in demand, with prices ranging from AED 115,755 for 2021 models to AED 197,892 for 2025 models.

Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Defender, Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Cadillac Escalade also made it to the list of popular pre-owned SUVs in the UAE.
In 2025, pre-owned non-luxury cars in the UAE saw increased demand, attributed to higher new-car prices and a growing population. Japanese brands dominated the market, with Toyota and Nissan in the lead, for their reliability and practical performance. Simultaneously, Chinese brands captured buyers’ attention with their competitive features and strong after-sales support.
Toyota Camry emerged as the most sought-after used non-luxury sedan, with prices ranging from AED 62,533 for 2021 models to AED 120,456 for 2025 models. Meanwhile, the Nissan Altima also remained in demand, with prices ranging from AED 45,663 for 2021 models to AED 97,998 for 2025 models.
