Chevrolet announced today that an all-new compact SUV will be joining its award-winning line-up in the Middle East this year. Introducing, the Chevrolet Groove. Set to arrive in the region in the fourth quarter of 2021, the all-new Chevrolet Groove builds on the success of the recently launched Captiva, which took the region by storm in 2020.
The Chevrolet Groove is built on Chevrolet’s extensive global SUV experience, reconfirming GM’s leadership in the SUV segments in the region and across the world. Encapsulating the brand’s ‘3S’ concept, the Chevrolet Groove is smart, stylish and spacious.
“The Chevrolet Groove is a fun, sporty crossover, delivering on the performance, design and reliability that Chevrolet’s customers have come to expect,” said Kelly MacDonald, Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors Middle East & Africa. “Chevrolet already offers one of the most diverse and desirable SUV line-ups in the Middle East, and the Chevrolet Groove further expands our offering, attracting a younger driver who is looking for a dependable, tech-savvy and well-designed car to suit their lifestyle.”
Compact and nimble, the Chevrolet Groove is powered by a 1.5L engine mated with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), offering a smooth and efficient ride. With excellent fuel efficiency and fun-to-drive characteristics, the Chevrolet Groove elevates every drive for the region’s younger car lovers.
Channeling Chevrolet’s global design language, the all-new Chevrolet Groove is modern with eye-catching appeal from every angle. Muscular lines and a lean body give the Chevrolet Groove a youthful and athletic look whether parked or in motion. From head on, the unmistakable horizontal three-line grille emblazoned with the Chevrolet bowtie is flanked by ultra-thin headlamps, emphasizing the sporty and aggressive personality of the crossover. The Chevrolet Groove also comes with a semi-panoramic sunroof, bringing the outside world inside the cabin itself.
Not only does the Chevrolet Groove look good, but it is also packed with advanced technology and safety features to keep its driver safer on the road. Reverse Camera and Sensors come standard, helping drivers navigate even the tightest of driving conditions while Stability and Traction Control ensures the driver remains in control, no matter the road conditions. The Chevrolet Groove also offers an 8-inch touchscreen loaded with the Chevrolet Infotainment System, keeping every drive safe and fun.
The Chevrolet Groove will be available in all markets across the Middle East from Q4 2021. For more information, please visit Chevrolet Arabia.
