Aston Martin has ventured into the retail scene in Abu Dhabi by opening a retail showcase in Abu Dhabi’s Avenue at the renowned Etihad Towers. This will mark the brans’s entry into the Abu Dhabi market, ahead of its planned showroom opening that is slated to occur in early 2017.
The retail showcase will provide prospective clients with a fully immersive brand experience through a display similar to the one planned for the new showroom. It comprises Aston Martin’s range of striking sports cars, a private customer lounge and plenty of branded Aston Martin merchandise. Visitors to the retail space will also have a chance to meet the new Aston Martin team in Abu Dhabi and take a test drive in the vehicle of their choice.
Speaking about the retail showcase, Christopher Sheppard, Chief Executive Officer, Aston Martin MENA said that it is meant to create a solid brand presence till the showroom is ready to be opened to the public. Having a presence in Abu Dhabi is an integral part of Aston Martin’s regional brand strategy, and the retail space will showcase the brand’s proud heritage which spans 103 years, its unique British craftsmanship and style.
Aston Martin has also announced plans to ramp up its investment in Abu Dhabi by opening a Service Centre to ensure that Aston Martin factory trained technicians will provide current and future customers with the assurance that their beautiful hand crafted cars will always be able to operate at optimum levels and will receive the best possible care.
