For the third consecutive year, Valeo is participating in the Consumer Electronics Show, where it is unveiling its technological innovations in the smart, intuitive driving arena.
The French company is showcasing the Cruise4U partially automated vehicle, providing visitors with the opportunity to experience hands-free driving in real traffic conditions on board its demonstrator. It is also displaying the Mobius™ 2, which merges a number of innovations on the dashboard, enabling drivers to switch seamlessly from automated to manual driving mode in complete safety, while providing new services for drivers to use when the car is driving itself.
For the very first time in the US, Valeo is also introducing its Sightstream® camera system which is designed to replace standard rearview mirrors. Visitors will be given a chance to test this technology in an equipped prototype that will operate in real traffic conditions. Moreover, the company is also presenting Remote Clean4U™, which enables users to remotely clean and defrost their windshield via a smartphone application. It comes with two functions: debugging, which washes away insects stuck to the windshield in record time and defrosting, which automatically defrosts a windshield in just less than 90 seconds.
The company is also proud in the world premiere of its smart anti-glare glasses solution. Called Les Lunettes, these connected, technology-packed glasses enhance driver visibility day and night by reducing glare from various sources. This results in a safer and more comfortable driving experience.
During the CES, Valeo innovations will be displayed in two areas: its booth at CES Central Plaza CP 24 and the outdoor demonstration area at CES Gold Lot Circuit.
