Frost & Sullivan has recognized Delphi Technologies with its 2017 North American Company of the Year Award based on its analysis of the automotive aftermarket industry. Delhi has demonstrated strong growth of its aftermarket division, as an outcome of the company’s investment in expanding its rang eof products and development of key distribution partnerships with product portfolio and developing key distribution partnerships.
Commenting on Delphi’s performance, Anuj Monga, Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan said that Delphi has demonstrated strong year-over-year growth by focusing on key areas where it is strong like engine management products and as a result of adding products like batteries and chassis/suspension components.
Delphi has strong brand equity and this has driven the company’s market share growth and expansion of its aftermarket division. The company is one of the top suppliers of original equipment for automobiles and only three top automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) accounting for almost 28 per cent of Delphi’s global sales. As of 2016, 18 of the top 20 vehicles models in the United States had a Delphi component and this highlights the brand acceptance and positive image that Delphi has among consumers thanks to its reputation for quality and reliability.
Delphi has not only expanded its product portfolio but has also been gradually making changes to its range of fuel pumps, for which Delphi is one of the top suppliers. The latest range of fuel pumps from Delphi incorporate a patented turbine pump which eliminates vibration and maintains consistent fuel flow for a longer service life, contributing to better fuel efficiency in the long run.
Another product Delphi launched recently is its fuel tank cleaning kit. Delphi gives great importance to providing quality training for installation and service technicians and for DIY customers, including a free eLearning program that is available on the company’s Web site. This program covers all aspects including sales, diagnostics, and installation of the company’s products.

It is for these reasons that Delphi Technologies has earned Frost & Sullivan’s North American Company of the Year award,” said Anuj Monga.
